Mrc Kit Dispensing

MRC kit dispensing is a laboratory workflow for accurately distributing the components of a standardized biochemical kit into reaction vessels or assay plates. It relies on controlled volumetric transfer, typically with calibrated pipettes or automated liquid-handling systems, while preserving reagent identity, dispensing order, and contamination control. Consistent dispensing reduces variation between reactions and supports reliable downstream measurements, including enzyme assays, molecular analyses, and other biochemical tests. In research and teaching laboratories, this process improves experimental reproducibility, helps standardize kit-based protocols, and enables efficient preparation of multiple samples under defined conditions.

Here we demonstrate the newly developed I•Cryo kit for mouse sperm cryopreservation. Two-cell stage embryo development with frozen-thawed sperm was improved consistently in 5 mouse strains with the use of this kit. Over a 1.5 year period, 49 genetically modified mouse lines were archived by sperm cryopreservation with the I•Cryo kit and later successfully recovered by IVF.
