Titanium Brush

A titanium brush is a specialized instrument with titanium bristles used to mechanically clean and decontaminate hard surfaces, particularly dental implants and other medical devices. During treatment, the bristles contact the surface to disrupt and remove bacterial biofilm, plaque, and contaminated deposits through controlled abrasion, often as part of surgical or nonsurgical cleaning procedures. In medicine and dentistry, titanium brushes are studied for managing peri-implant inflammation and improving implant-surface decontamination before regenerative or reconstructive treatment. Their effectiveness depends on brush design, application force, surface characteristics, and the ability to remove contaminants without causing undesirable surface alteration.
