Usb Digitizer

A USB digitizer is a hardware device that converts analog signals, images, or video into digital data for processing, storage, and analysis through a computer’s USB interface. It operates by sampling a continuous input at defined time intervals, quantizing the measured values into numerical levels, and transferring the resulting data over USB, with resolution and sampling rate influencing fidelity. In medicine, USB digitizers can connect laboratory instruments and imaging or monitoring equipment to research computers, supporting data acquisition, visualization, archiving, and quantitative analysis. They help modernize analog systems and integrate measurements into digital clinical and experimental workflows.

Chip-Based Digital PCR to Detect Rare Transcript Variants Using a Nanofluidic Chip

2025

This video demonstrates chip-based digital PCR — a variation of the digital PCR technique that is useful in detecting rare transcript variants. The PCR reaction is partitioned into the chambers of a nanofluidic chip, each of which acts as an independent reaction. The detection of fluorescence signals from the chambers with amplified targets confirms the presence of rare transcript variants in the sample.

Digital Microfluidics is a technique characterized by the manipulation of discrete droplets (~nL - mL) on an array of electrodes by the application of electrical fields. It is well-suited for carrying out rapid, sequential, miniaturized automated biochemical assays. Here, we report a platform capable of automating several proteomic processing steps.

Measuring Engagement of Spectators of Social Digital Games

2024

In digital marketing, metrics are crucial for evaluating the effectiveness of strategies and understanding audience behavior. These metrics, which include traffic, engagement, financial, and revenue indicators, offer a comprehensive view of marketing performance. They help businesses make informed decisions and optimize their strategies. Traffic metrics, such as page views, measure how often a web page is loaded, providing insights into a website's reach and popularity. High page views may...
