Ispyb Information System

The ISPyB Information System is a laboratory information management system designed to organize samples, experiments, and results from macromolecular crystallography beamlines. It links sample registration and shipment records with beamline sessions, data-collection parameters, diffraction images, and processing outcomes in a searchable database. By integrating with laboratory and synchrotron workflows, ISPyB helps researchers track experiments, monitor data quality, and connect structural results with the biological samples that produced them. In biochemistry, this centralized approach supports protein structure determination, improves collaboration and reproducibility, and provides a foundation for managing the large, complex datasets generated during structural studies.

How Virtual Celebrity Characteristics Drive Purchase Intention: Testing the Stimulus-Organism-Response Framework with Structural Equation Modeling

2026

In the context of the virtual celebrity experience, content quality most strongly drives satisfaction; satisfaction, in turn, increases purchase intention indirectly via loyalty. Personalization strengthens the satisfaction-loyalty link, so firms should prioritize emotion-evoking, narrative-consistent virtual celebrity content and personalized loyalty programs.

From Affective Satisfaction to Habit: Reinforcement Dynamics in Short-Form Drama Engagement

2026

Short-form drama environments provide dense reinforcement conditions through ultra-short episodes and frequent re-entry. Using an S-O-R model and PLS-SEM, this study examined continuance intention among short-form drama users. The findings indicate that affective satisfaction was positively associated with habit, and habit was positively associated with continuance intention.

2025

The acquisition of dynamic positron emission tomography (PET) data and reconstruction into time frames allows for metabolic brain connectivity analysis at the single-subject level. We describe a method to acquire [18F]FDG dynamic PET data of the rat brain and obtain a connectivity matrix through the extraction of time-activity curves of volumes of interest.
