Robotized Camera Testing

Robotized camera testing is an automated method for evaluating cameras used in medical imaging and diagnostic devices, where robotic systems perform repeatable tests with greater consistency than manual inspection. The process positions and moves a camera through controlled angles, distances, lighting conditions, or imaging targets while recording measures such as image quality, focus, field of view, and operational reliability. In medicine, this approach supports validation and quality control for endoscopic, surgical, and laboratory imaging systems. Standardized testing can reveal performance limitations, improve device comparability, and help ensure that cameras provide dependable visual information for clinical procedures and research.
