What are Proteins?

Les acides amin&#xE9;s sont li&#xE9;spar des liaisons peptidiques covalentes. 
Et la s&#xE9;rie r&#xE9;p&#xE9;t&#xE9;e d&#x27;atomes le long du noyau,s&#x27;appelle la structure des polypeptides. 
La s&#xE9;quence commence &#xE0; l&#x27;extr&#xE9;mit&#xE9; N-terminale,avec un groupe amino libre NH3 plus. 
Et se termine avec le C-terminus,un groupe carboxyle libre COO moins.

Les cha&#xEE;nes lat&#xE9;rales des r&#xE9;sidus individuels d&#x2019;acides amin&#xE9;s d&#xE9;terminent les interactions entre les r&#xE9;sidus d&#x2019;acides amin&#xE9;s et, finalement, le repliement de la prot&#xE9;ine. L&#x2019;identit&#xE9; de l&#x2019;acide amin&#xE9; est d&#xE9;termin&#xE9;e par sa cha&#xEE;ne lat&#xE9;rale ou son r&#xE9;sidu lat&#xE9;ral, souvent appel&#xE9; le groupe R. L&#x2019;acide amin&#xE9; le plus simple est la glycine, o&#xF9; le r&#xE9;sidu est un atome d&#x2019;hydrog&#xE8;ne unique. EXPLANATION: Discussions of DNA in earlier grades have been limited to discussions of genes and the role of genes in the appearance and activities of an organism. Biology 1 represents a student's introduction to a molecular model of a DNA as well as the organization of DNA into genes and genes subsequently into chromosomes. Students should address interactions between genes in proteins which regulate both the shape and reproduction of DNA molecules. It is important to note that not all segments of DNA are transcribed for proteins. Portions of DNA are involved in regulating the expression of genes or affect the structure of the chromosomes (replication origin, centromeres, and telomeres).
