Technology-enhanced Learning

Technology-enhanced learning is the use of digital tools, platforms, and resources to support, enrich, or personalize education. It works by combining methods such as multimedia instruction, interactive simulations, online collaboration, and learning analytics, allowing students to access content, practice skills, and receive feedback through digital environments. In environmental education, these approaches can model ecosystems, climate processes, and resource management scenarios that may be difficult to observe directly. They also support remote fieldwork, data analysis, and collaborative problem-solving, helping learners connect scientific concepts with real-world environmental challenges while extending learning beyond the classroom.

An Introduction to Learning and Memory

2023

Learning is the process of acquiring new information and memory is the retention or storage of that information. Different types of learning, such as non-associative and associative learning, and different types of memory, such as long-term and short-term memory, have been associated with human behaviors. Studying these components in detail helps behavioral scientists understand the neural mechanisms behind these two complex phenomena. JoVE's overview on learning and memory introduces common...

Enhancing Chimeric Antigen Receptor-Extracellular Vesicles (CAR-EV) Technology: The Future of Cancer Therapy

2025

The therapeutic application of extracellular vesicles (EVs) has the potential to revolutionize cancer treatment and drug delivery. Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cell-derived EVs (CAR-EVs) isolated using ion-exchange chromatography exhibit increased cargo capacity, significantly enhancing their functional efficacy. This study further characterizes CAR-EVs to elucidate their biological activity and therapeutic potential.

We present a protocol for a behavioral analysis of adults (ages 18 to 70-year-old) engaged in learning processes, undertaking tasks designed for Self-Regulated Learning (SRL). The participants, university teachers and students, and adults from the University of Experience, were monitored with eye-tracking devices and the data were analyzed with data-mining techniques.
