Vhit System A

vHIT System A is a video head impulse testing system used to assess the vestibulo-ocular reflex, a key pathway that stabilizes vision during rapid head movement. The system combines high-speed eye tracking with head-motion sensors while the examiner delivers brief, unpredictable horizontal or vertical head impulses; comparing eye velocity with head velocity reveals vestibular responses and detects abnormal compensatory eye movements. In medicine, vHIT supports evaluation of semicircular canal function, peripheral vestibular disorders, and dizziness. Its quantitative measurements can complement bedside examination and help clinicians characterize vestibular deficits, monitor recovery, and guide further diagnostic assessment.

2020

We present a detailed protocol for potato virus X (PVX)-based microRNA silencing (VbMS) system to functionally characterize endogenous microRNAs (miRNAs) in potato. Target mimic (TM) molecules of miRNA of interest are integrated into the PVX vector and transiently expressed in potato to silence the target miRNA or miRNA family.

Live Cell Response to Mechanical Stimulation Studied by Integrated Optical and Atomic Force Microscopy

This paper aims to instruct the reader in the operation of an integrated atomic force-optical imaging microscope for mechanical stimulation of live cells in culture. A step-by-step protocol is presented. A representative data set that shows live cell response to mechanical stimulation is presented.

Here, we detail the method of Sequencing of Psoralen crosslinked, Ligated, and Selected Hybrids (SPLASH), which enables genome-wide mapping of intramolecular and intermolecular RNA-RNA interactions in vivo. SPLASH can be applied to study RNA interactomes of organisms including yeast, bacteria and humans.

How Virtual Celebrity Characteristics Drive Purchase Intention: Testing the Stimulus-Organism-Response Framework with Structural Equation Modeling

2026

In the context of the virtual celebrity experience, content quality most strongly drives satisfaction; satisfaction, in turn, increases purchase intention indirectly via loyalty. Personalization strengthens the satisfaction-loyalty link, so firms should prioritize emotion-evoking, narrative-consistent virtual celebrity content and personalized loyalty programs.
