Six Sigma

Six Sigma is a data-driven quality management methodology that reduces process variation and defects to improve consistency, efficiency, and customer outcomes. In its statistical framework, teams define a problem, measure process performance, analyze sources of variation, improve the process, and control results through the DMAIC cycle, using tools such as control charts, capability analysis, and hypothesis testing. Six Sigma applies statistical reasoning to manufacturing, healthcare, business operations, and other settings where reliable performance matters. By linking quantitative evidence with structured problem solving, it helps organizations identify root causes, monitor improvements, and make processes more predictable.
