Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms-SNPs

길이가 1 kilobase 미만인 뉴클레오티드 서열의 삽입 또는 결실로 인한 변화를 indel이라고 합니다.
뉴클레오티드의 삽입 또는 결실이 동일한 게놈에서 다양한 횟수로 복사되는 경우 이를 복제 수 변이 또는 CNV라고 합니다. 종종 CNV는 길이가 1kg보다 큰 DNA를 포함합니다.
일배체형(haplotype)은 한쪽 부모로부터 물려받은 일련의 유전자입니다. 게놈은 다형성 클러스터를 포함하는 일배체형 블록으로 나눌 수 있습니다.

단일 뉴클레오티드 다형성 또는 SNP는 대규모 집단의 특정 게놈 위치에서 단일 뉴클레오티드 변이입니다. 이는 인간 게놈에서 발견되는 가장 널리 퍼진 유형의 서열 변이입니다. 인구의 1% 이상에서 발생하는 점 돌연변이는 SNP로 분류됩니다. 이는 인간 게놈에서 평균적으로 1000개의 뉴클레오티드마다 한 번씩 존재합니다. 퓨린이 다른 퓨린(A/G)으로 교체되거나 피리미딘이 다른 피리미딘(C/T)으로 교체되는 것을 전이라고 합니다. 대조적으로, 퓨린을 피리미딘(A, G/C 또는 T)으로 치환하거나 그 반대로 치환하는 것을 전환이라고 합니다.
