Mobile Assisted Learning

Mobile assisted learning is an educational approach that uses smartphones, tablets, and other portable digital devices to support learning across locations and contexts. It works by delivering course materials, simulations, assessments, and communication through mobile applications or web platforms, often using multimedia, connectivity, and immediate feedback to reinforce concepts and adapt study activities to learner needs. In engineering education, this approach can connect theory with practical problem-solving through interactive models, design tools, field data collection, and collaborative project work. It can extend access to instruction, support flexible learning, and help students develop technical and digital skills relevant to modern engineering practice.

Electrophoretic Mobility Shift Assay (EMSA)

2023

The electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) is a biochemical procedure used to elucidate binding between proteins and nucleic acids. In this assay a radiolabeled nucleic acid and test protein are mixed. Binding is determined via gel electrophoresis which separates components based on mass, charge, and conformation. This video shows the concepts of EMSA and a general procedure, including gel and protein preparation, binding, electrophoresis, and detection. Applications covered in this video...

Mobile Marketing
