<p>Dr. Stefano De Rossi received his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2015, with a grade of 110/110 <em>cum laude</em>. He completed his residency training in otorhinolaryngology from the department of ENT and Head and Neck Surgery, University of Verona, Borgo Trento tertiary referral center from the year 2015 to 2019. Following the residency training, Dr. De Rossi achieved his specialization in ENT and Head and Neck surgery with a grade of 70/70 <em>cum laude</em>. His fields of interest include, endoscopic and microscopic surgery of the lateral and anterior skull base, endoscopic phonosurgery, head and neck surgery, and reconstructive surgery with local and pedicled flaps.</p>

<p>In 2008, Dr. Luca Gazzini completed his scientific high school diploma at the Liceo Ginnasio Antonio Rosmini in Rovereto, with a grade of 100/100. In 2014, he completed his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Verona with a grade of 100/100 <em>cum laude.</em> In 2015, he achieved the qualification to practice the profession of surgeon and got registered in the Order of surgeons and dentists of the province of Trento. In 2019, he achieved his specialization in otolaryngology at the University of Verona.</p> <p>His fields of interest include, endoscopic and microscopic surgery of the middle and inner ear including surgery of the lateral skull base and pontocerebellar angle, endoscopic surgery of the paranasal sinuses and of the anterior skull base, head, and neck oncological surgery for benign and malignant pathology of the neck, both open and endoscopic larynx and salivary glands, oral cavity surgery, reconstructive surgery with pedunculated and microvascular flaps.</p>

Collection Overview

This collection aims to collect educational videos on standard and new surgical techniques in head and neck oncologic surgery. The video included describes the surgical technique step-by-step pointing out the main anatomical landmarks, possible pitfalls and complications, and tips and tricks for each step of the procedure. Furthermore, a brief description of indication and contraindication of the surgical procedure is advisable. The focus of this collection are all the surgical procedures that an oncologic head and neck surgeon could deal with that includes, lateral neck dissection, larynx procedures either open or LASER surgery, oral cavity, and tongue cancer resection, nose, and sinus, skull-base open and endoscopic surgery, and robotic surgery.
