Dr. Di obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Medicine from Chongqing Medical University and her Doctor Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Peking Union Medical College. From 2006 to 2007, she studied in the Department of Pathology of Harvard Medical College as a PhD student. Dr. Di has worked in clinical biochemistry, molecular diagnosis, and flow cytometry groups in the Department of Laboratory Medicine of Guangdong People's Hospital for more than 15 years. She has been a chief technician and technical director for seven years and established a technical management system for the Department. Dr. Di has the qualification certificate of a university teacher and is a part-time teacher at the Medical School of South China University of Technology (SCUT). She is also the group leader of the teaching team in the Department of Laboratory Medicine, focusing on clinical diagnostic training for undergraduate, postgraduate, and visiting students and resident doctors. The achievements of Dr. Di and her team include many awards for teaching competitions. In addition, Dr. Di is also one of the main participants of the SCUT Teaching Reform Project (2022) and Guangdong Provincial Undergraduate University Quality Engineering Construction Project (2022). Dr. Di has presided over several projects funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Guangzhou and Guangdong Province, published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers, edited two books, and authorized one invention patent. Her current research interest mainly focuses on molecular biological detection technology, including but not limited to the rapid detection of microbial pathogens, tumor markers discovery, and intracellular signal transduction.
