Dr. Ryo Furukawa is a researcher at the Technology Research Laboratory, Shimadzu Corporation. He received his PhD in engineering from Hokkaido University, Japan, in 2025, where his research focused on brain stimulation technologies. He has received the Best Poster Award in 2022 and the Best Student Paper Award in 2025 from BIOSTEC. His recent research interests include magnetoencephalography and neural signal analysis for both basic neuroscience research and clinical applications.
