Neuro Morph Toolkit

Neuro Morph Toolkit is a computational resource for analyzing the structure and shape of neurons, an essential task in neuroscience because morphology reflects cellular development, connectivity, and function. It processes microscopy images or neuronal reconstructions by identifying and tracing structures such as the soma, dendrites, and axons, then extracting quantitative features including length, branching, and spatial organization. These measurements support comparisons across brain regions, developmental stages, experimental conditions, and disease models. By converting complex cellular anatomy into standardized data, the toolkit helps researchers classify neuronal types, detect structural changes, and relate morphology to neural circuits and behavior.

2016

This article reports the development of a neuro-rehabilitation approach, "constraint-induced sound therapy (CIST)" for sudden sensorineural hearing loss. The aim of CIST is to prevent maladaptive cortical reorganization by using an enriched acoustic environment. CIST represents a safe, easy, inexpensive, and effective approach to treat sudden sensorineural hearing loss.

The Marketing Toolkit - 4Ps to 4Es

2024

The marketing mix, or 4Ps, introduced by E. Jerome McCarthy in the 1960s, is a cornerstone of marketing strategy. It includes the following: Product involves tangible offerings, considering features, quality, design, branding, packaging, and warranties. Understanding the needs of the target market is crucial. Price refers to the cost customers are willing to pay, considering production costs, competitors, and consumer perception. Place (Distribution) involves selecting distribution channels...
