Titanium Gold Slide

A titanium gold slide is a laboratory substrate featuring a thin titanium layer beneath a gold coating, combining strong film adhesion with the surface properties of gold for bioengineering research. The titanium layer helps anchor the gold to the underlying slide, while the gold surface supports controlled chemical functionalization and electrical interaction with biological materials. These slides provide a stable platform for constructing biosensors, studying cell–material interfaces, and patterning biomolecules or conductive structures. Their reproducible surface chemistry and compatibility with microfabrication make them useful for investigating how engineered materials influence biological detection, adhesion, and response.
