Rhoc-specific Antibody

A Rhoc-specific antibody is an affinity reagent designed to recognize the RhoC protein, enabling researchers to detect and study this small GTPase in biological samples. It works through selective antigen-antibody binding, in which the antibody’s variable region recognizes an epitope on RhoC while minimizing interaction with related Rho-family proteins. These antibodies support methods such as Western blotting, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and immunoprecipitation to measure RhoC abundance, examine its cellular localization, and investigate signaling linked to the actin cytoskeleton and cell movement. Careful validation helps confirm specificity and produces reliable results in cell biology and disease research.

A Peptide Microarray Technology for Specificity Profiling of Antibodies

2025

This video demonstrates a technique that applies peptide microarray technology to profile the specificity of antibodies recognizing post-translational modifications (PTMs) on histone peptides. A microarray slide containing immobilized fluorophore-conjugated histone peptides with known PTM combinations is treated with target PTM-specific antibodies. This process helps identify the antibody's specificity for the target and its potential cross-reactivity with non-target PTMs.

This video demonstrates a technique to study the in vivo localization of tumor-specific antibodies in a mouse tumor xenograft model. Upon subcutaneously injecting cancer cells into mice for tumor formation, fluorescently-labeled antibodies are injected that bind to tumor-specific receptors, enabling in vivo assessment of antibody localization via imaging.

A Technique to Generate Monoclonal Antibodies from Antigen-Specific B Cells

2025

The video demonstrates a technique for generating monoclonal antibodies from antigen-specific B cells. Eukaryotic expression vectors encoding the heavy and light chains of antibodies, cloned from isolated antigen-specific B cells, are introduced into mammalian cells using polyplexes. Once inside the cells, these vectors undergo translation, and the resulting heavy and light chain peptides assemble into antibodies, which are subsequently secreted by the cells.
