Dental Arch Scanning

Dental arch scanning is a digital imaging technique that captures the three-dimensional shape of the upper and lower dental arches, supporting accurate assessment and treatment planning in dentistry. An intraoral scanner projects light onto teeth and surrounding oral structures, records reflected data, and combines successive images into a virtual model that represents tooth position, arch form, and occlusal relationships. These digital impressions can support orthodontic diagnosis, restorative and prosthodontic workflows, implant planning, and fabrication of dental appliances, while reducing reliance on conventional impression materials. The resulting models also facilitate documentation, communication, and computer-aided design and manufacturing.

The Arch of Aorta

The coronary arteries, originating from the ascending aorta, bifurcate from two sinuses located within the ascending aorta. Positioned just above the aortic semilunar valve, these sinuses house essential aortic baroreceptors and chemoreceptors, crucial for maintaining cardiac function. The left coronary artery and the right coronary artery branch off from the left posterior and anterior aortic sinuses, respectively. Encircling the heart, the coronary arteries form a ring-like structure before...
