Svf-enriched Graft

An SVF-enriched graft is a transplanted tissue graft, commonly composed of adipose tissue, supplemented with the stromal vascular fraction (SVF), a heterogeneous cell population isolated from adipose tissue. SVF contains stromal and mesenchymal stem or progenitor cells, endothelial cells, pericytes, and immune cells that can release signaling molecules, support angiogenesis, and influence inflammation and tissue repair after transplantation. In medicine, this approach is being investigated in reconstructive surgery, wound healing, orthopedics, and regenerative therapies, where improved vascularization and graft integration may enhance clinical outcomes. Its effectiveness and safety depend on cell-processing methods, graft composition, delivery conditions, and rigorous clinical evaluation.

The purpose of the study is to illustrate the technical procedure of stromal vascular fraction (SVF)-enriched fat grafting as a novel treatment of symptomatic end-neuromata. This technique provides advantages of both the mechanical barrier and the biological action at the cellular level by the processed and concentrated SVF.

(2017)This video demonstrates the surgical procedure for neurolysis and stromal vascular fraction (SVF)-enriched fat grafting in the management of symptomatic neuroma. Neurolysis removes adhesion tissue to restore nerve gliding, while SVF-enriched fat grafting is applied around the nerve to create a protective barrier, support nerve healing, and enhance...

Mouse Models for Graft Arteriosclerosis

We describe protocols for our mouse graft arteriosclerois (GA) models which involve interposition of a mouse vessel segment into a recipient of the same inbred strain. By backcrossing additional genetic changes into the vessel donor, the model can assess the effect of specific genes on GA.

All animal procedures described here must be conducted in accordance with institutional animal ethics guidelines and approved by IACUC. All procedures must follow the principles of the 3Rs—Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement—and must be performed by trained personnel. Environmental enrichment involves objects and practices that encourage natural behaviors, improve psychological well-being, and promote better welfare in laboratory rodents. Environmental enrichment should be tailored to the...
