Collection Overview

Over the last decade, we have witnessed significant advances in dermatologic therapy for chronic skin conditions, from the introduction of Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKi) to topical tapinarof for psoriasis or clascoterone for acne. In addition, different techniques and tools have been utilized in daily practice, including biophotomodulation, optical imaging, artificial intelligence, and molecular analyses for different tumors or malformations. In this Methods Collection, we invite clinicians, pathologists, and scientists to share their experiences and perspectives on their cutting-edge research in chronic dermatological conditions. The JoVE platform offers a unique opportunity to educate the reader through video integration, which is a powerful tool for increased communication, education, and connection.
