Sysml Model Generation

SysML model generation is the process of creating structured systems engineering models that represent requirements, components, behaviors, interfaces, and constraints throughout a system’s lifecycle. It works by translating engineering information into connected SysML elements and relationships, often using model-based systems engineering tools to organize requirements, construct structural and behavioral diagrams, and define parametric links for analysis. These models provide a shared, traceable representation that helps teams communicate across disciplines, evaluate design alternatives, verify requirements, and manage system complexity. In engineering practice, automated or semi-automated generation can improve consistency, reduce repetitive modeling effort, and support digital engineering workflows from early concept development through verification and validation.

In this video, human-derived melanoma cells are implanted subcutaneously into the flank region of an immunocompromised mouse. The PDX model allows preclinical investigation of melanoma cells that better recapitulate the tumor heterogeneity and melanoma aggressiveness observed in in vivo conditions.

This video demonstrates a method to generate adjuvant-induced arthritis in a murine model. Complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA) is injected in the mouse ankle joint and periarticular areas. CFA activates the immune system, leading to neutrophil infiltration and exaggerated inflammation.

Generating the Widespread Cerebral Cortical Demyelination in a Rat Model

The video demonstrates a method for generating a rat model with widespread cerebral cortical demyelination. This involves disrupting the blood-brain barrier by injecting pro-inflammatory cytokines into mice primed with recombinant myelin sheath protein. This process facilitates the infiltration of immune cells, resulting in widespread cerebral cortical demyelination.
