Participant Uv Protection

Participant UV protection refers to the measures used to limit ultraviolet radiation exposure and reduce associated risks for people involved in medical care or research. These measures may include protective clothing, eyewear, sunscreen, shade, controlled exposure duration, and monitoring, which reduce the amount of UVA and UVB reaching the skin and eyes. In medicine, participant UV protection is especially important during phototherapy, dermatologic procedures, occupational assessments, and studies involving ultraviolet exposure. Careful screening, informed consent, exposure controls, and follow-up monitoring help protect participants while supporting reliable clinical outcomes and ethical research practices.
