Employee Satisfaction

Employee satisfaction is the degree to which workers feel positive about their jobs, workplace conditions, and employment experience, making it an important indicator of organizational health and workforce stability. In statistics, researchers measure satisfaction through structured surveys that use rating scales and analyze responses with descriptive measures such as means and distributions, while inferential tests can examine differences or relationships across groups and workplace factors. These analyses help identify patterns linked to engagement, retention, productivity, and organizational change. Reliable measurement and appropriate sampling allow researchers and managers to distinguish broad workforce trends from isolated opinions and evaluate whether interventions improve employees’ experiences.
