Real-time Cell Analyzer

A real-time cell analyzer is an instrument that continuously measures changes in living cell behavior without requiring repeated sampling or endpoint staining, making it valuable for biomedical research and medicine. In many systems, cells grow on microelectrode-containing plates, and their attachment, spreading, proliferation, or death alters electrical impedance, which the instrument records as a time-dependent signal. Researchers use these measurements to evaluate drug efficacy and cytotoxicity, monitor cell migration, and characterize growth responses under controlled conditions. By providing label-free, kinetic data, real-time cell analysis can reveal transient cellular responses that endpoint assays may miss and support more informed development of therapies and diagnostic models.
