Ovos de galinha na fase inicial da criação de animais estão entre in vitro e em sistemas in vivo e proporcionar um ambiente de teste vascular não só para estudar a angiogênese, mas também para estudar tumorigênese. Depois que o pintinho membrana corioalantóide (CAM) tem desenvolvido, sua rede de vasos sanguíneos podem ser facilmente acessados, manipulados e observados e, portanto, oferece um cenário ideal para ensaios de angiogênese.
