Ev Tracking

EV tracking is the process of monitoring extracellular vesicles as they move through biological systems, interact with target cells, and deliver molecular cargo. Researchers typically label vesicles with fluorescent markers or other detectable tags, then use imaging and analytical methods to follow their uptake, intracellular localization, biodistribution, and clearance under defined experimental conditions. In biology, EV tracking helps clarify how vesicles mediate cell-to-cell communication and how their behavior changes in health and disease. These measurements support research on biomarkers, drug delivery, tissue repair, and vesicle-based therapeutics while informing the design of more reliable extracellular vesicle studies.

Enhancing Chimeric Antigen Receptor-Extracellular Vesicles (CAR-EV) Technology: The Future of Cancer Therapy

2025

The therapeutic application of extracellular vesicles (EVs) has the potential to revolutionize cancer treatment and drug delivery. Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cell-derived EVs (CAR-EVs) isolated using ion-exchange chromatography exhibit increased cargo capacity, significantly enhancing their functional efficacy. This study further characterizes CAR-EVs to elucidate their biological activity and therapeutic potential.

SDS-PAGE Based Extraction of Extracellular Vesicles Associated Proteins: A Procedure to Extract Proteins from EVs and Prepare Them for In-Gel Digestion

Source: Laboratory of Jonathan Flombaum—Johns Hopkins University In a staggeringly complex and engaging world, it is crucial to selectively process some stimuli at the expense of others. Experimental psychologists call this ability attention. Specifically, visual attention refers to the ability to selectively process aspects of a visual scene. Many paradigms used to study visual attention involve brief, punctuated, and repeated trials. However, everyday situations often place sustained demands...

Eye Tracking in Cognitive Experiments

2023

Eye tracking as the name suggests involves tracking of eye-movements. It is a non-invasive, sensitive tool that quantifies and measures eye-movements to describe an individuals' cognitive state. An eye-movement between two fixation points is called a saccade, which is one of the fastest motor movements in our body. By observing the profiles of these eye movements, scientists can better understand neural deficits in patients with cognitive impairments. In this video, we will first look at an...
