Dr. Justin Taylor is the Pap Corp Endowed Professor in Leukemia and a physician-scientist in the Division of Hematology and Department of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He serves as the Translational Leader for the Leukemia Group and is a full member of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Before joining Sylvester in 2020, he completed his medical training at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, part of Harvard Medical School, and his hematology/oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In addition to seeing patients, he performs laboratory research and has received several awards, including the Stanley J. Glaser Award and the Schally Research Award from the Department of Medicine and the Outstanding Basic/Translational Researcher of the Year from Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Taylor was recently elected to the American Society of Clinical Investigation. His research focuses on understanding and overcoming resistance to BTK targeted therapies in hematologic malignancy.
