Dr. Song Lei graduated from Jilin University with PhD and MD in 2014. He is currently a deputy chief physician of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, the First Hospital of Jilin University, serving as the deputy director of the department. Dr. Song has long been devoted to the clinical and basic research of respiratory system infection and immunity, focusing on critical respiratory pathogens such as Legionella pneumophila, Coxiella burnetii, etc., to explore the biochemical and cellular biological mechanisms of bacterial virulence proteins interfering with host cell function.
