Marco Alessandro Minetto graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2000 and obtained his specialization in Internal Medicine in 2005, followed by a PhD in Medical Pathophysiology in 2008, all at the University of Turin, Italy. Since 2020, he has served as Director of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program at the University of Turin, and since 2022 as Deputy Director of the Sports and Exercise Medicine residency program. Since 2024, he has been Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Turin. His main clinical activities include metabolic rehabilitation, musculoskeletal ultrasound, interventional physiatry, and the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis, sarcopenia, and tendinopathies. His primary research interests focus on body composition assessment in clinical populations and athletes.
