Suhyun Jo, Ph.D. Su received her Ph.D. in Systems Neuroscience from Ajou University in South Korea, where her thesis research explored the roles of the orbitofrontal cortex and insular cortices in processing subjective value from various reward variables, temporal discounting, and risk evaluation. Following her Ph.D., she completed two postdoctoral research positions: one at the Institute for Basic Science in South Korea and another at the University of Oregon in the United States. During her second postdoctoral fellowship, she focused on investigating the neural mechanisms underlying sensory perception across different arousal states. In her free time, Su enjoys reading, cooking, and trekking. suhyun.jo@jove.com
