Zhendong Jin is currently the director of the Gastroenterology Department at the First Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University (Shanghai Changhai Hospital), a chief physician, professor, and doctoral supervisor. As a leading expert in the field of digestive endoscopy in China, he has been focusing on clinical and basic research of endoscopic ultrasound for a long time, particularly achieving remarkable accomplishments in the early diagnosis and minimally invasive interventional treatment of pancreatic diseases. His research covers the development of new endoscopic instruments, AI-assisted image recognition, and comprehensive tumor diagnosis and treatment, and is dedicated to promoting the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases towards precision and minimally invasive approaches through technological innovation.
