Prp Preparation

PRP preparation is a biological technique that produces platelet-rich plasma, a blood-derived fraction containing a higher platelet concentration than whole blood for laboratory and clinical research. The process typically involves collecting anticoagulated whole blood and centrifuging it to separate red blood cells, plasma, and the platelet-containing layer; an additional centrifugation step can further concentrate platelets. Because activated platelets release growth factors and signaling molecules, prepared PRP supports studies of tissue repair, inflammation, cell proliferation, and regenerative responses. Standardizing collection, centrifugation conditions, and the final platelet and leukocyte composition is essential for reproducible biological results.
