Qiaprep Miniprep Kit

The QIAprep Miniprep Kit is a method for rapidly isolating high-quality plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures, supporting routine molecular biology workflows. During processing, bacterial cells undergo alkaline lysis, and the cleared lysate passes through a silica membrane under high-salt conditions that bind plasmid DNA; washing removes contaminants before low-salt elution releases the purified DNA. The resulting plasmid preparation can be analyzed by restriction digestion or used for cloning, sequencing, PCR, and other downstream applications. Its speed, small sample requirement, and consistent purification make it useful for screening recombinant bacterial colonies and preparing DNA for research.

Here we demonstrate the newly developed I•Cryo kit for mouse sperm cryopreservation. Two-cell stage embryo development with frozen-thawed sperm was improved consistently in 5 mouse strains with the use of this kit. Over a 1.5 year period, 49 genetically modified mouse lines were archived by sperm cryopreservation with the I•Cryo kit and later successfully recovered by IVF.

2009

The Protease Fluorescent Detection Kit is designed for the measurement of protease activity using fluorometry. It is also suitable for detection of trace amounts of protease contamination. The method is based on the proteolytic hydroysis of a proprietary formulation of a FITC-labeled casein substrate.

Analysis of the c-KIT Ligand Promoter Using Chromatin Immunoprecipitation

2017

DNA-protein interactions are essential for multiple biological processes. During the evaluation of cellular functions, the analysis of DNA-protein interactions is indispensable for understanding gene regulation. Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) is a powerful tool to analyze such interactions in vivo.

Magnetic-Activated Cell Sorting: A Method to Isolate c-Kit Positive Cells
