Cd73 Cd90 Cd105

CD73, CD90, and CD105 are cell-surface markers used to characterize mesenchymal stromal cells and distinguish cell populations in biomedical research. CD73 functions as an ecto-5′-nucleotidase that converts extracellular AMP to adenosine, while CD90 supports cell adhesion and signaling and CD105 acts as an accessory receptor in transforming growth factor-beta pathways. Researchers commonly assess these markers by flow cytometry or immunostaining, often alongside lineage-negative markers, to evaluate cell identity, enrichment, and culture quality. Their expression profiles support studies of tissue repair, regenerative medicine, immunomodulation, and the therapeutic potential of stromal cell populations.
