Neural Density Intelligence

Neural Density Intelligence is a conceptual framework that relates intelligence to the organization, density, and efficiency of connections within neural networks. It considers how synaptic connectivity, neural processing, and communication among brain regions may support learning, memory, reasoning, and adaptive behavior, rather than treating intelligence as a single fixed trait. In psychology, this perspective can guide research linking cognitive performance with brain structure and function through neuroimaging, computational modeling, and behavioral assessment. Its value lies in connecting biological mechanisms with individual differences in cognition while recognizing that neural density alone does not determine intelligence, which also reflects network efficiency, experience, and environmental influences.

2025

This video demonstrates the method for culturing ultra-low-density neurons in the presence of a high-density neuronal feeder layer. It establishes a co-culture of varying-density neurons, ensuring close physical proximity. The growth factors secreted by high-density neurons help neuronal survival and growth, maintaining ultra-low-density neurons for a longer time period.
