Yuan Wan holds a master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry from Capital Normal University. His research focuses on biosensors, nanomaterials, nucleic acid aptamers, with multiple academic papers published in peer-reviewed journals. Beyond lab research, he brings extensive academic publishing experience from both Elsevier and a previous role at JoVE. He maintains broad networks with global chemistry, materials and biology researchers, with polished expertise in scholarly communication, manuscript coordination and researcher liaison. As a Science Editor at JoVE, he aims to cooperate with interdisciplinary scientists worldwide to facilitate the global sharing of standardized experimental protocols and novel research findings, breaking barriers between different research areas.
