Yuelang Yao holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Universität für Bodenkultur Wien (Austria) and an M.Sc. from Imperial College London (UK). During her doctorate, she focused on the expression and characterization of membrane proteins, and the development of innovative in vitro assays based on cell-free expression platforms. Following the completion of her PhD, she developed a strong interest in science communication and enjoys engaging with researchers from diverse disciplines to foster scientific exchange and collaboration.
