Svf Isolation

SVF isolation is a laboratory process that separates the stromal vascular fraction from adipose tissue, producing a heterogeneous cell population used in regenerative medicine and biomedical research. The procedure typically disrupts adipose tissue, removes mature adipocytes, and concentrates the remaining vascular-associated cells through controlled digestion, filtration, and centrifugation. This fraction can contain stromal cells, endothelial cells, pericytes, immune cells, and blood-derived components, making it useful for studying tissue repair, inflammation, angiogenesis, and cell-based therapies. Standardized isolation is important because tissue source, processing conditions, and handling can influence cell composition, viability, and experimental or clinical outcomes.

The purpose of the study is to illustrate the technical procedure of stromal vascular fraction (SVF)-enriched fat grafting as a novel treatment of symptomatic end-neuromata. This technique provides advantages of both the mechanical barrier and the biological action at the cellular level by the processed and concentrated SVF.

We describe the isolation of cardiac extracellular matrix from C57Bl/6J control mice, tight-skin mice, and tight-skin mice treated with the IRF5 inhibitory peptide. We also describe the vasodilation studies on the isolated vessels from C57Bl/6J, tight-skin mice and tight-skin mice treated with the IRF5 inhibitory peptide.

(2017)This video demonstrates the surgical procedure for neurolysis and stromal vascular fraction (SVF)-enriched fat grafting in the management of symptomatic neuroma. Neurolysis removes adhesion tissue to restore nerve gliding, while SVF-enriched fat grafting is applied around the nerve to create a protective barrier, support nerve healing, and enhance...

Neutrophils are among the first cells to arrive on the site of inflammatory immune response, and their functions and mechanisms have been studied extensively in vitro. We demonstrate a standard density gradient separation method to isolate human neutrophils from whole blood using commercially available separation media.
