Placez toujours les tubes équilibrés en face l’un de l’autre. Couvrez le rotor en vous assurant que le joint est bien étanche. Fermez le couvercle de la centrifugeuse et démarrez votre programme. Attendez une demi-heure supplémentaire si des produits chimiques formant des aérosols sont présents. Sinon, vous pouvez ouvrir immédiatement la centrifugeuse. Retirez les échantillons et rapportez-les dans un endroit spécialisé pour les ouvrir si nécessaire. En cas de déversement, nettoyez immédiatement la centrifugeuse. Utilisez un EPI approprié à tout danger présent et éliminez les matériaux contaminés conformément aux directives. N’utilisez pas de fils de brosse abrasifs pour nettoyer car ils pourraient endommager le rotor. Alertez le personnel d’urgence et n’essayez pas de nettoyer la centrifugeuse si des dangers mettant la vie en danger se sont déversés. Décontaminez le rotor avec de l’eau de Javel à 10 % pour tous les échantillons biologiques utilisés dans la centrifugeuse, qu’il y ait un déversement ou non. Laissez reposer l’eau de Javel pendant 30 minutes, puis rincez à l’éthanol à 70 % et séchez à l’air.
