Endoscopic Exoscopic Views

Endoscopic exoscopic views are complementary surgical visualization approaches that use cameras to display internal anatomy or the operative field, helping clinicians work through small access points while maintaining a broader view. An endoscope passes through a natural opening or incision to capture images within a confined space, whereas an exoscope remains outside the body and provides magnified, high-definition views of exposed tissue; both systems transmit images to a monitor for shared observation. In medicine, combining these perspectives can support minimally invasive procedures, anatomical orientation, instrument guidance, and team communication. The approach also strengthens surgical education by making operative anatomy visible to everyone in the room.

Econometric Views, often stylized as EViews, is a package that merges statistical analysis with econometric studies. It is designed to provide tools for time series analysis, forecasting, and econometric model simulation. The software originated from MicroTSP software and has evolved significantly since its inception in 1981. The history of EViews is marked by a continuous effort to enhance its computational speed and user interface. It was initially developed for large computing systems but...

Infants and toddlers view the world in a fundamentally different way from their parents. Head-mounted cameras provide a tractable mechanism to understand the infant visual environment. This protocol provides guiding principles for experiments in the home or laboratory to capture the egocentric view of toddlers and infants.

Cranial Bones: Lateral View

The lateral view of the cranium is dominated by temporal, sphenoid, and ethmoid bones. The temporal bone forms the lower lateral side of the skull. The temporal bone is subdivided into several regions. The flattened upper portion is the squamous portion of the temporal bone. Below this area and projecting anteriorly is the zygomatic process of the temporal bone, which forms the posterior portion of the zygomatic arch. Posteriorly is the mastoid portion of the temporal bone. Projecting...

Exp.(2023)This video demonstrates a minimally invasive endoscopic procedure to treat lumbar disc herniation by removing the protruded nucleus pulposus and ruptured annulus fibrosus. The technique decompresses the affected nerve root, alleviates pain, and restores nerve function through targeted tissue resection and radiofrequency modulation.
