Charles Ethan Byrne Department of Biomedical Engineering, School of Science and Engineering Tulane University Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles Charles Ethan Byrne Ethan Byrne holds a BS and a PhD in Biological Engineering from Louisiana State University. His graduate work focused on developing nanoparticle drug delivery systems and modeling the breast microenvironment using a microphysiological system constructed from patient-derived tissues to study the progression of estrogen receptor positive and triple negative breast cancer. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Tulane University where he is developing a microphysiological system using organ-on-a-chip technology to model triple negative breast cancer.
