ZHEN XIAO Department of Chemistry Brown University Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles ZHEN XIAO I joined Brown University in 2017 and started my research on highly magnetic nanomaterials in Prof. Vicki Colvin’s lab and expect to gain my Ph.D. in chemistry in May 2022. My research focuses on the design and synthesis of magnetic nanocluster and biocompatible polymers to form stable colloidal suspensions under a variety of biological conditions. We have achieved many in vitro and in vivo studies applying these materials and demonstrating superior performances with my collaborator. I desire to push magnetic nanotechnologies for a broader application in biomedicines. Publications Magnetic Nanoparticles in Biology and Medicine: Past, Present, and Future Trends Pharmaceutics.
