Guidelines in Case of a Laboratory Emergency

1. Emergenza generale

<ol><li>Incendi o esplosioni possono verificarsi da surriscaldamento, perdite o fuoriuscite di sostanze chimiche infiammabili o gas esposti a calore eccessivo, fiamme libere o scintille elettriche in laboratorio. Fai attenzione quando lavori con sostanze chimiche infiammabili o esplosive ed evita il calore o le scintille elettriche nelle vicinanze. Utilizzare in modo sicuro le apparecchiature elettriche e qualsiasi fonte di calore per prevenire incendi o esplosioni.</li>

			<li>Chimica secca: la chimica secca multiuso funziona per le classi A, B e C e le sostanze chimiche secche ordinarie funzionano solo per le classi B e C. La sostanza chimica secca estingue il fuoco interrompendo la reazione chimica.</li>
			<li>Wet Chemical: solo per il fuoco di classe K. La sostanza chimica umida estingue il fuoco rimuovendo il calore e separa l'ossigeno dagli elementi di combustibile.</li>
