Manganese Copper Alloy

Manganese copper alloy is a family of copper-based materials containing manganese to tailor mechanical, electrical, and thermal performance for engineering applications. During melting and cooling, manganese enters the copper crystal lattice and can promote solid-solution strengthening or form additional phases, while composition, heat treatment, and working history control the resulting microstructure and properties. These alloys can provide a useful balance of strength, ductility, electrical resistivity, and wear resistance, supporting applications in electrical resistance components, instrumentation, and specialized structural parts. Understanding composition–processing relationships helps engineers select suitable alloys and optimize manufacturing performance.

Improving Thermoelectric Properties of Bi2Te3 Thin Films By Manganese Co-Sputtering

2026

A radiofrequency co-sputtering protocol was developed to fabricate manganese-doped Bi2Te3 thin films and evaluate how manganese input influences structural and thermoelectric transport properties. Moderate manganese incorporation improved film uniformity and power-factor-related transport behavior, while higher manganese input increased structural disorder and resistivity.
