Most Frequent Value

The most frequent value in a data set is the value that occurs more often than any other, commonly called the mode in mathematics and statistics. To identify it, count the frequency of each distinct observation and compare the totals; a data set may have one mode, multiple modes when values tie, or no unique most frequent value. This measure summarizes repetition and can reveal common outcomes in categorical or numerical data, especially when averages are misleading. It supports data analysis, probability studies, quality control, and decision-making by highlighting the most prevalent result.

Here we present a tail-tip blood sampling protocol for frequent sample collection in unrestrained mice. This method is useful for assessing patterns of pulsatile luteinizing hormone secretion and could be adapted for analysis of other circulating factors.

A Simple Planting Technique for Re-establishing Trees Where Frequent Inundation Occurs

2018

This protocol describes a simple, cost-effective tree planting technique for restoring degraded Everglades tree islands that experience inundation. The design creates an island (pop-up) which floats initially and adds elevation to promote tree survival and growth under flooded conditions.

Global and Current Research Trends of Single-Cell Sequencing in Cancer: A Bibliometric and Visualization Study

2025

This bibliometric analysis of single-cell sequencing in cancer research indicates that China and the USA produce significantly more scholarly articles than other nations. Burst detection identifies emerging terms such as 'intra-tumor heterogeneity,' 'clonal evolution,' and 'drug delivery systems,' which are expected to influence future research.
