Edward F. Lener is Director of Collection Management in the University Libraries at Virginia Tech. He received his M.L.S. degree from State University of New York at Albany. Edward is the university’s representative to the Collections Committee of the VIVA library consortium and a co-author of the book Graduate Research: A Guide for Students in the Sciences (4th ed., 2016). He has numerous publications related to collection management and serves as a conference director for the annual Charleston Conference. He is an active member of the ACRL Science and Technology Section, CORE, and GSIS and serves on the STS STEMM Librarianship Resources Committee, GSIS Best Research Resource Award Committee, and the TRAIL Collections Committee.
