Dr. Everlyn Anduvare is an Information & Knowledge Management, Governance, and Institutional Learning Specialist with over a decade of experience driving transformation across academic and regional development environments. She currently serves as University Librarian at Karatina University, Kenya, where she leads strategic library operations, spearheaded the implementation of an RFID system, and oversees digital transformation initiatives that enhance research and learning. Her expertise spans knowledge ecosystems, institutional repositories, records governance, and policy development. She has led major institutional projects, including a university-wide Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) and the adoption of e-resources, and has contributed her strategic insight to regional organizations on knowledge management frameworks and capacity building. Dr. Anduvare holds a PhD in Information Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Her research focuses on eResearch support and the role of digital technologies in advancing scholarly communication. She is an active researcher, peer reviewer, and postgraduate supervisor committed to mentoring emerging information professionals. A recipient of the 2025 JoVE Innovation Award for her work in advancing research support, Dr. Anduvare brings a collaborative, globally-minded perspective to the JoVE Library Advisory Board, informed by her experience across academic, development, and multi-stakeholder settings in Africa and beyond. eanduvare@karu.ac.ke
