This collection features some of the most-viewed recent JoVE articles in the field of three-dimensional (3D) cell culture, organoid technology, and bioprinting. We have been proud to publish video articles reflecting (and hopefully facilitating) the rapid advancement of methods for 3D in vitro modeling. Highlighted videos document techniques for creating and manipulating biological structures across diverse tissues and species - from intestinal and endometrial organoids to 3D-printed bacterial colonies. Methods such as suspended-layer additive manufacturing and photobiomodulation-enhanced stem cell culture illustrate the expanding opportunities for modern 3D platforms. These protocols provide powerful tools for researchers to study development, disease, and therapeutic responses in controlled contexts.
