Wireless Data Recorder

A wireless data recorder is a device that captures measurements from sensors and transmits or stores the resulting data without requiring a physical connection to a monitoring system. It typically conditions incoming signals, converts them into digital records, and sends them through a wireless communication link to a receiver, computer, or cloud-based platform, while local memory may provide backup storage. In clinical settings, wireless data recorders support remote and ambulatory monitoring of physiological variables, improve patient mobility, and help clinicians review measurements over time. Their use can streamline data collection while reducing cable-related constraints in hospitals, laboratories, and patient-care environments.

Data Reporting and Recording

Reporting and recording are crucial in data documentation. The timely, thorough, and accurate documentation of facts is essential when recording patient data. Failure to record findings during an assessment or interpretation of a problem will result in loss of information and make the patient document unreliable. The reader is left with general impressions if the information is not specific. A recording is documenting data of the individual's health information in a traceable, secure, and...

A wireless, bidirectional system for multi-channel neural recordings and stimulation in freely behaving rats is introduced. The system is light and compact, thus having minimal impact on the animal´s behavioral repertoire. Moreover, this bidirectional system provides a sophisticated tool to assess causal relationships between brain activation patterns and behavior.
