Multichannel Recording

Multichannel recording is a method for collecting signals from multiple sensors or recording sites at the same time, allowing researchers to examine coordinated activity across systems. In behavioral research, each channel captures a distinct physiological, neural, or environmental signal, while synchronized acquisition preserves the timing relationships among them. Researchers can align these recordings with observed actions or experimental events to identify patterns associated with perception, movement, decision-making, or other behaviors. This approach supports comparisons across signals, improves temporal analysis, and helps connect measurable biological activity with behavior in laboratory and naturalistic settings.

A multichannel distribution system is a strategy where a company uses several methods to reach its customers. It may include selling products through physical stores, online platforms, direct mail, and third-party distributors. The importance of a multichannel distribution system lies in its ability to increase market coverage and customer convenience: Reach More Customers: With multiple channels, businesses can reach different segments of their target market that they might not access via a...

Electroencephalography Recording in a Rat Model of Focal Epilepsy

2014

Simultaneous extracellular long term recordings from two different brain neuropiles or two different anatomical tracts were established in honeybees. These recordings allow the investigation of temporal aspects of neuronal processing across different brain areas at the single neuron as well as at the ensemble level in a behaving animal.

Electroencephalography-Based Recording Technique to Record the Epileptiform Activity
